Usui/Holy Fire III® Reiki I & II Training
Reiki I & II are taught together during a two-day intensive.

Over the years, I’ve trained in several Reiki lineages, and each time I step further into the practice, it reveals another layer of wisdom, history, and energetic intelligence. In this training, l teach alongside Angelique Thompson of Inner Cynosure. Together, we blend our unique skillsets to create a deeply supportive and transformative experience. Alongside my work, Angelique brings a grounded, integrative presence—helping bridge the gap between curiosity and understanding. When things feel unfamiliar, emotional, or difficult to put into words, she offers steady support and perspective so you can remain open without feeling overwhelmed.
My relationship with Reiki has grown far beyond what can be found in books. Through working with this energy, I’ve experienced glimpses of its much older roots—long before it was ever known as “Reiki.” I’m deeply grateful that this sacred current resurfaced in the 1950s, as it has transformed my life in ways that are hard to fully express. Each class I teach seems to unlock another layer of understanding—another memory, insight, or energetic download connected to this universal life force. It continues to unfold in the most beautiful ways, and I love sharing that with others.
One of the most important things I share with my students is this: learning Reiki doesn’t mean you need to become a practitioner or teacher. Reiki is first and foremost a gift you give to yourself. It’s a powerful tool to support your health, emotional well-being, creativity, relationships, career, and spiritual growth. As you begin working with Reiki, you’ll notice how naturally it weaves into your daily life—calming the mind, strengthening intuition, and bringing clarity and alignment to whatever you’re navigating. It becomes a lifelong resource you can access anytime.
I also offer trainings in Seichim (Egyptian Reiki), Animal Reiki, 5 Element Dragon Fire Reiki and Angelic Reiki. Each carries its own unique frequency, but everything begins here. Usui Holy Fire Reiki I & II is the foundation—the place where your relationship with this energy truly begins.
What This Training Includes
This two-day immersive experience combines Reiki I & II, giving you the foundation and tools to begin working with Reiki energy right away. You will receive:
- Both Reiki attunements
- All teachings and techniques for Levels I & II
- Official class manual Certificate upon completion
- Guided practice including: Giving and receiving a full Reiki session
- Traditional hand positions for Self-treatment
- Level II symbols and distant healing Japanese Reiki techniques
This training blends teaching, discussion, and hands-on practice so you can fully embody the work—not just learn it. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be supported in real time as things arise—whether emotional release, mental resistance, or simply integrating something new. You won’t be left to figure it out alone. You’ll be guided, grounded, and supported every step of the way.
The WAKE Experience
My Reiki trainings are rooted in traditional lineage while also infused with the unique medicine that flows through my work, including:
- Shamanic practices and tools
- Personal medicine codes
- Teachings from plant, animal, and spirit allies
- 5 Element Dragon Fire Reiki techniques for levels I & II
This creates a deeply holistic and powerful initiation that goes beyond a standard Reiki training. During your attunements, you may experience:
- Release of old patterns that no longer serve you
- Integration of higher-frequency energy
- Deep energetic and emotional healing
- Expanded clarity around your path and purpose
The Inner Cynosure Experience
Reiki awakens something. Sometimes subtle. Sometimes ancient. Sometimes both at once. What opens in a training like this needs somewhere to land in the body, in language, in a framework that makes sense of what you're feeling without diminishing it. That's where Angelique Thompson comes in.
Within Lauren's Reiki trainings, Angelique of Inner Cynosure works alongside her as a distinct and complementary presence. Lauren's work opens and activates. Angelique's work translates and grounds, helping you understand what your nervous system is doing with the expansion, what the activation is stirring in you beneath the surface, and what deserves more attention once the training ends.
Sometimes the body responds to this kind of work with caution before it responds with openness. That's not resistance. That's the nervous system doing exactly what it's designed to do. Angelique helps you read those signals accurately: what's a normal recalibration, what needs more time, and what's worth sitting with.
She brings a background in psychology, 3 years working alongside Lauren, and holds certification as a Usui Holy Fire and Egyptian Reiki practitioner. Her work is practical, embodied, and direct: the kind that gives language to what you're experiencing so you can actually work with it rather than just through it.
Support is woven throughout the training. For those who want to continue the work after, individual IC Sessions are available.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (both days)
Please plan to be present for the entire weekend to receive your certification. Dress comfortably—everything is set up for you to relax and receive. I’ll have cushions, blankets, pillows, and eye masks available. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch, snacks, and drinks. I’ll provide coffee, tea, water, and light snacks. We’ll take a 30–60 minute lunch break depending on the group’s preference. You can stay and eat or explore nearby options in Kimmswick or Imperial (all just a few minutes away).
